Ever since she was a child, Adesha Armstrong has enjoyed caring for and teaching others. As a teenager, she spent her summers babysitting and tutoring children in her community. Once she graduated high school, she began volunteering at the family child care program of a family friend. Her passion for early childhood education grew immensely.
As a mother of one and an early childhood educator for over 10 years, she is very aware of the desire for the best quality care that parents want and need for their children in their absence. She saw a need for a quality, but affordable program option for her own family when her daughter was born in 2013, and finally opened the doors to her program in 2017 to service other families in the community.
Ms. Armstrong believes the foundation of learning must include the total development of a child. A healthy child is a thriving child. As a member of the Gateway Early Childhood Alliance Steering Committee, she is further dedicating her power to ensure every child and family has access to quality early learning experiences, regardless of what they look like or where they live.
As a parent, educator, mentor, and ECE advocate, Ms. Armstrong desires to connect with and serve many Black and Brown families in the St. Louis region to provide them and their children with early learning experiences they will remember for years to come.
